Martin Hristov

Short bio­graphy: Mar­tin Hristov gradu­ated from sec­ond­ary edu­ca­tion at the 9th High School in 1985, Span­ish lan­guage class, later stud­ied Hun­gari­an philo­logy at the Sofia Uni­ver­sity St. Kli­ment Ohrid­ski and the Debre­cen Uni­ver­sity Lajos Kos­suth, where he gradu­ated in 1992. In 1995 he foun­ded the trans­la­tion agency Alma Con­sult, and since 2002 he has been man­aging Ergo Pub­lish­ing House. He has trans­lated numer­ous books by Hun­gari­an authors.

  • Hun­gari­an state award Golden Cross of Mer­it (2015).
