Neli Dimova

Field of work: lit­er­ary trans­la­tion – prose, drama

Short bio­graphy: Neli Dimova was born in Varna, where she gradu­ated from the First Lan­guage High School with Ger­man lan­guage. In 1998, she gradu­ated in Hun­gari­an philo­logy at the Sofia Uni­ver­sity St. Kli­ment Ohrid­ski, with a minor in Ger­man lan­guage and lit­er­at­ure. Since 1998, she has worked at the Hun­gari­an Cul­tur­al Insti­tute in Sofia as a trans­lat­or and event organ­izer. Trans­lat­or of fic­tion – nov­els, short stor­ies and plays from Hun­gari­an, edit­or of trans­la­tions from Hun­gari­an. She has par­ti­cip­ated in trans­la­tion camps in Hun­gary. Jury mem­ber in com­pet­i­tions for trans­la­tion of Hun­gari­an lit­er­at­ure.
