At the end of 2017 the Bul\u00adgari\u00adan Trans\u00adlat\u00adors\u2019 Uni\u00adon<\/a><\/span> organ\u00adised an even\u00ading ded\u00adic\u00adated to lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adlat\u00ador Iglika Vassil\u00adeva<\/a> and her inter\u00adpret\u00ada\u00adtion of the works of Vir\u00adgin\u00adia Woolf in Bul\u00adgari\u00adan. It was the t<\/span>wen\u00adti\u00adeth anniversary of the first pub\u00adlic\u00ada\u00adtion of Vassileva\u2019s trans\u00adla\u00adtion of  To the Light\u00adhouse<\/i> <\/i> <\/b>and a birth\u00adday anniversary of the admired trans\u00adlat\u00ador.<\/p>\n

Aca\u00addem\u00adics and crit\u00adics shared their views on Vassileva\u2019s always per\u00adcept\u00adive, thor\u00adough and inspir\u00ading work as <\/b>a lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adlat\u00ador. Frag\u00adments from her trans\u00adla\u00adtions were read aloud. Vassil\u00adeva her\u00adself talked about her exper\u00adi\u00adence in lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adla\u00adtion. The event was widely atten\u00added and repor\u00adted on in the cul\u00adtur\u00adal press.<\/span><\/p>\n
