On Janu\u00adary 1, 2017 nine European organ\u00adisa\u00adtions* offi\u00adcially launched the PETRA<\/span>\u2011E Net\u00adwork for the Edu\u00adca\u00adtion and Train\u00ading of Lit\u00ader\u00adary Trans\u00adlat\u00adors. The part\u00adners will expand, imple\u00adment and fur\u00adther devel\u00adop the PETRA<\/span>\u2011E Frame\u00adwork<\/a>, the res\u00adult of the suc\u00adcess\u00adful Erasmus+ fun\u00added PETRA<\/span>\u2011E pro\u00adject (2014\u20132016), and will provide a col\u00adlab\u00ador\u00adat\u00adive space for the dis\u00adcus\u00adsion of related top\u00adics.<\/p>\n

The PETRA<\/span>\u2011E Frame\u00adwork maps out com\u00adpet\u00adences and levels in lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adlat\u00ading. It serves to improve the qual\u00adity of lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adla\u00adtions and the vis\u00adib\u00adil\u00adity of lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adlat\u00adors in Europe. It is now avail\u00adable in nine lan\u00adguages: Bul\u00adgari\u00adan, Dutch, Eng\u00adlish, French, Ger\u00adman, Hun\u00adgari\u00adan, Itali\u00adan, Por\u00adtuguese and Span\u00adish.<\/p>\n

In the short time since the Frame\u00adwork was launched, a large num\u00adber of organ\u00adisa\u00adtions has shown interest in becom\u00ading involved in the fur\u00adther devel\u00adop\u00adment. The Net\u00adwork wel\u00adcomes new mem\u00adbers, aca\u00addem\u00adic and non-academic, who are com\u00admit\u00adted to the PETRA<\/span>\u2011E Frame\u00adwork and its under\u00adly\u00ading prin\u00adciples, and wish to imple\u00adment the Frame\u00adwork in their own insti\u00adtu\u00adtions and pro\u00adgrammes and con\u00adtrib\u00adute to its fur\u00adther devel\u00adop\u00adment. The first meet\u00ading will be held in the Autumn of 2017. We are cur\u00adrently approach\u00ading the organ\u00adisa\u00adtions that have already shown interest. After the first meet\u00ading we cer\u00adtainly need oth\u00ader organ\u00adisa\u00adtions to come on board and put the Frame\u00adwork into action.<\/p>\n
