Any tech\u00adnique from pho\u00adto\u00adgraphy, draw\u00ading, print\u00admak\u00ading and paint\u00ading can be used \u2013 as well as any top\u00adic, as long as it is in some way related to lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adla\u00adtion.<\/p>\n<p>One digit\u00adal pic\u00adture per par\u00adti\u00adcipant will be accep\u00adted. The con\u00adtest will be launched on April 23, The World Book Day, and the dead\u00adline will be May 22.&nbsp;A&nbsp;200-Euro vouch\u00ader for din\u00adner and books will be awar\u00added to the win\u00adner before Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Trans\u00adla\u00adtion Day, Septem\u00adber 30, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>After the enthu\u00adsi\u00adast\u00adic response to our pre\u00advi\u00adous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceatl.eu\/translation-everywhere-photo-contest\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Trans\u00adla\u00adtion, Every\u00adwhere\u2019 photo con\u00adtest<\/a> and our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceatl.eu\/third-ceatl-video-contest-to-promote-the-visibility-of-literary-translators\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Spot the trans\u00adlat\u00ador\u2019 video con\u00adtest<\/a>, <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> hopes that this new pic\u00adture con\u00adtest will appeal to many bud\u00adding visu\u00adal artists!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Con\u00adtest rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All entries shall be sub\u00admit\u00adted to contest@ceatl.eu before <strong>22 May 2016<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Only one entry per par\u00adti\u00adcipant is allowed.<\/li>\n<li>If the entry fea\u00adtures any text in a&nbsp;lan\u00adguage oth\u00ader than Eng\u00adlish or French, this text must be trans\u00adlated into Eng\u00adlish and\/or French.<\/li>\n<li>300 dpi digit\u00adal photographs\/artwork scans (2\u20133&nbsp;<span class=\"caps\">MB<\/span>) in <span class=\"caps\">JPEG<\/span> format are accep\u00adted.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> reserves the right to use the win\u00adning pic\u00adture to pro\u00admote lit\u00ader\u00adary trans\u00adlat\u00adors, for instance, as the image for <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span>\u2019s Trans\u00adla\u00adtion Day post\u00adcard. It is under\u00adstood that the win\u00adner will give per\u00admis\u00adsion for their pic\u00adture to be used for that pur\u00adpose. Should <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> wish to use oth\u00ader pic\u00adtures for pro\u00admo\u00adtion\u00adal pur\u00adposes, the per\u00admis\u00adsion of the artist\/artists shall be reques\u00adted. <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> will not pass the pic\u00adtures to any third parties oth\u00ader than <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> mem\u00adber asso\u00adci\u00adations. <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> will not use the pic\u00adtures for eco\u00adnom\u00adic profit.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> will post all the con\u00adtest pic\u00adtures to an open Face\u00adbook event page where every\u00adbody can \u2018like\u2019 their favour\u00adite one.<\/li>\n<li>The <span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> jury will con\u00adsider five pic\u00adtures that col\u00adlect the most likes by May 29, and will choose a&nbsp;win\u00adner from among them.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> mem\u00adber asso\u00adci\u00adations may exhib\u00adit the pic\u00adtures and organ\u00adize press con\u00adfer\u00adences pro\u00admot\u00ading the win\u00adning pic\u00adture.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"caps\">CEATL<\/span> del\u00adeg\u00adates and hon\u00ador\u00adary mem\u00adbers are not allowed to take part in the con\u00adtest.<\/li>\n<li>The win\u00adner will be announced in June 2016, and awar\u00added a&nbsp;prize of a&nbsp;200-Euro vouch\u00ader for din\u00adner and books.<\/li>\n<li>Offens\u00adive pic\u00adtures will be removed from the con\u00adtest. The jury has the right not to award the prize, or to split it between two par\u00adti\u00adcipants in the event of a&nbsp;tie.
